Site messed up after recent upgrade

Hi Support,

We are using the Newspaper theme on our site and a recent update to the theme version from v9.6.1 to v9.7.3 and after successfully following the instructions to manually update the TagDiv plugins., our site is messed up completely.

The primary issue is, stylesheets/CSS aren’t working.

Please let us know how can we fix the site with latest version of Newspaper theme?

Hi,

Do you maybe use a child theme? If you do, try making a small modification in it, in the functions file – http://prntscr.com/nwzyeb
The child theme included in the 9.7.3 package contains this modification.

I should note that there are however some issues that are caused by having a child theme active at the moment. Like for example post templates not applying properly when set to posts. As soon as they are fixed, a new theme update will be released. Sorry for the inconvenience.
You could maybe restore the backup if you have made one, for the time being.
