My website has become unusable in the backend somehow. I always get messages such as ‘Too Many Requests’ or ‘Service Unavailable’ when I try to work in the backend (e.g. creating a new post). After implementing Cloudflare, Bunny.net and Wordfence, it seems that the excessive use of admin-ajax.php, especially by the Newspaper template, is the main cause of the issue. In addition, there are lots of news articles on the page, as well as lots of bot traffic. Could you please look into this for me?

I see you’ve been using the theme for many years. Were there issues like this before? We should at least consider that something else might be causing the issues.
I will take a look at it as well. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide access to the website (admin user and pass). Please mention in the email how you identified the excessive usage of admin-ajax requests as the cause, so we can continue from there. Also please clarify what lots of news articles on the page means exactly, so we can check that as well.
For bot traffic you can use any general wordpress recommendations. Using Cloudflare is very good, it provides a bot fight mode feature https://developers.cloudflare.com/bots/get-started/bot-fight-mode/ Wordfence is also good to have. These two should be enough, or at least they are for most cases.
