site wide looks bigger for demos

Hello,
I have a comment about the site wide. When I preview a demo, the site looks it take almost all screen but after I installed it it looks smaller. How can I have it like the demo?

Hi,

Please provide an example.
Please note that theme theme full width is 1164px(the content is 1068px) and all the theme elements were designed for it and it is the same on all demos.
When you use background – http://screencast.com/t/SMRdJELbX the content is 1068px – http://screencast.com/t/uqdrrtVu87Lf
When the site is not boxed(no background) the content width is the same – http://screencast.com/t/KCYbSMkS3PFc

This is how the demo local news template looks on my navigator:
