The most surprising thing is that the bug is not present on all computers or tablets.

I have checked your site and found a lot of errors in your console, most of them js errors which can cause the search issue: http://screencast.com/t/5o5xik99
You should start by deactivating all plugins, leaving just the Visual Composer plugin active, empty cache, purge files(if you use any CDN plugins) and check for this again.

This errors, as you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/xlb1AqV4 come from minified js which we do not recommend.
I also stated that you disable the plugins, all of them, not update them and also empty cache and purge files. I have tested this and found no issues so this should also work in your case.

I had exacly the same problem as barosi. The fix was to UNCHECK Defer parsing of javascript files from SPEED BOOSTER PACK.
may I ask: what happens if one day we move theme, or gallery is deprecated or something ? What will happen with galeries ? Images will still show in post or something ? I use tagdiv slide galery.

If you decide to switch the theme or something the gallery/gallery images will remain and use the WordPress default gallery, you could check this by switching to a WordPress theme. As for the deprecated part note that this will not happen.
