Slider :

When publishing a post, I would like to have the option if a post needs to be featured on the slider or not. Right now, posts I publish in a certain category are automatically featured on slider.

AMP :

Images are showing duplicate in posts in AMP pages. Your team member, Bogdan, customized my site and he was able to fix the the regular site. Also, the text based site logo is not supposed to be with capital letters and does not need “.com” That too was fixed on the desktop site? How can i fix all that in the mobile (AMP) site?

Ad Code :

I see multiples of ad spots in the theme panel in the backend. But I was unable to figure out where to paste the code in order to show on home page top right corner – as seen in the screenshot : https://prnt.sc/zs60ga

Also, the codes I pasted into the header box is still not showing. I would like to add two more ads in the hope page.

Thanks

D.J.

Hello !

Unfortunately the option desired for slider is not possible. What you can do is to filter the posts through the slide using post ids: https://www.screencast.com/t/uppzpppcL

For AMP it looks like your images are not getting displayed rather than being shown double. Please send us an email here: contact@tagdiv.com and link this topic in the conversation please.

For Ads you have 2 options. Either using background ads as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-ads/ or by creating a sidebar with tagDiv Composer as you can see in our guide featuring the Ad Box element: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=70s

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !

Thank you Vlad.

Let’s talk the slider again.

Right now everything I publish is being featured on the slider. Is it possible to make post-based filter ( as opposed to category based one) when publishing a post?

Example :

I am publishing “A”, “B”, and “C”, posts and they could be in different categories. If I want only to feature “B” ( could be from business, sports, entertainment or whatever) in the slider, could I filter out post “A” and “C” from being featured in the slider?

If not, could CSS customization be the answer? I think it is something that needs consideration for you next theme update.

Thanks!

Hello !

A CSS code will not help in this case unfortunately. Also the slider only has the available features for filtering. A post based filter is not available. What you can do is the following.

Create an empty category and make sure to keep it empty. Assign the slider to that category and filter the posts using posts id. Or you can also make a category only for the posts that you want to be displayed in your slider.

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !

Hello Vlad,

Thanks. There is already a slider category from the old site (I migrated from a theme I used for about eight years- ) – and I am entirely lost in tagdiv theme. I need help with that please – and sent e-mail to one of your colleague who customized it

Re : ad code

– Which I mentioned in my first post. The video you shared would have been more helpful if the music was turned off and step by step. I spent more than an hour but could not figure it out – I just pasted one custom ad code (adsense) on top right of the page.

Tried to use the theme panel ad feature – pasted codes in different areas and none of them are showing.

I need to paste codes to Post page ( top – https://prnt.sc/1008671 and bottom – https://prnt.sc/10086sk ) , in the inner page side bar (https://prnt.sc/1008f5k) – and home page (https://prnt.sc/1008g5l) and in the header too.

Please be a patient with me until I get the hang of it.

Hello !

We are here to help as much as we can.

If if helps you can turn down the playback speed on our video guides as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/bX3BRpCf This should make it easier to follow.

From what I can see in order to arrange the ads to your pleasure you will need to use the Adboxes on your post template.

I hope this was helpful !

Thank you !
