Hi,
I’m using Slider Revolution for my homepage animations. I have two different html5 videos (one designed for mobile devices and ipads, and one designed for desktop). Therefore I have created two separate Revolution Sliders as you cannot change the background for different devices in one Rev Slider.
Therefore, I have made one slider to appear on desktop, and one to appear on mobile devices. I have both in separate rows on my homepage and have changed the visibility of each in the row CSS settings.
I have double-checked to ensure all the settings are correct, but the Sider Revolution I have made with the mobile-friendly video does not appear on my ipad, even though I have set the row’s visibility to ‘show’ on ipad.
I’ve purged cache before checking in incognito. Still not working. Mobile and desktop work, just not on my ipad.
Are you able to offer insight and advice?
Thanks,
Georgia
Hi gmgcreative,
I just checked your website and for me is displaying only on mobile.
Just make sure that you set the hide option on element like this -> https://i.imgur.com/WwhAt0K.png
Also if you are using cache plugin, clear all cache and try when you are login to see the results and only if is working check in incognito.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi,
I have double-checked the element ‘hide’ buttons in CSS, and it still isn’t working.
My mum has just checked on her devices, and it isn’t coming up on mobile or her iPad.
Is it something to do with the Revolution Slider?
Thanks,
Georgia

Hi,
Thanks for your help. I have fixed this now.
I did some research and IOS devices can only read MP4 file formats for video. So it’s best to use mp4 for videos in revolution slider, as they are readable on all devices.
Before, I had converted it to an html video for web. But it’s not necessary for use on revolution slider, as mp4 works fast on it.
Thanks,
Georgia
