I’m trying to use the Slider Revolution that I got packed with the Newspaper theme, but when I try to activate it I receive this error on the top of the plugins page:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Hi,
Please try to deactivate all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching that you have installed then try to install the Revolution slider plugin again, from the theme package

There could be plugin conflict on some level, that is why it is necessary to try this as suggested.

Thank you, it’s worked! Bud we don’t get Revolution Slider for free, do we? It required me the licence code for what ever I want to do :/

The Revolution slider plugin as well as the Visual composer editor plugin are provided pre-activated in the theme package, and you do not have to activate either of these. You already have full access to the plugin features and you can use it without activation. Updates for the plugins bundled within the theme package will be included in the theme updates.
Please ignore any at all activation messages from Revolution slider and Visual composer.It’s just a missing condition from the plugin authors for these versions and we cannot make any changes to the plugins as it will break the license agreement we have with the plugin authors.

This is a very complex plugin that features a wealth of options and settings. To get started you can import a demo slider and just assign your categories from which the posts will be displayed

Do we also have it in package? Seems like I cannot activate them without registering Slider Revolution.

Add-ons for the Revolution slider are not available in the version provided with the theme. I believe those are available only if you buy the plugin and activate it, and probably with additional costs for each add-on, but I could not say for sure. That is the case for the premium slider you mention, it is available for customers that have bought the Revolution plugin from the provider.
