We’re seeing a very significant slowdown in page load after installing the latest version of the theme. Our host has dug into this, and identified the leading cause:
> I’m seeing a tdb_header_logo::render process that is taking 50-90% of the request time. The logo render process is taking ~6 seconds all by itself.
Our logo is a small png, ~2kb in size. Do you know what is causing the logo render process to take ~6 seconds? How can this be fixed?

Below is a New Relic trace from Kinsta (our host). This indicates ~46% of the load time is driven by tdb_header_logo::render – since the logo graphic itself is very small, I’m guessing this is a theme issue that can be resolved. Can you confirm?
They tell us the average WordPress load time they see is ~500ms, so we’re at the slow end of this, but seems fixing this header logo issue would get us there (and help your other customers).
Please let me know next steps to fix.

The results of this: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.zumper.com/rJ5C6fRr Show that images have a hard time to load. Have you tried the tips and tricks I provided in the post above ? Also. Try disabling your logo image from the header and test your speed.
