Smart list are broken when I deactivate plugin a3 Lazy Load

Hey guys,

I have a problem.

In my posts on Toply.cz, I’m using Smart lists 2 with H2 and ascending order.
It looks like this:

Little while ago, I have installed plugin a3 Lazy Load (https://wordpress.org/plugins/a3-lazy-load/)
However, I have just found out that it doesn’t work properly on smartphones, so I decided to deactive it.

And when I do, all my posts look like this:

All the content in each of the list’s points dissapear, including tables, H3 titles and images.
The only content which stays is that after tag, which closes smart list.

When I re-activate the plugin, it all goes to normal.

I know you don’t guarrante any function of the theme with untested plugins – and I’m pretty sure you haven’t tested a3 Lazy Load, but can you please help me?

How can I remove the plugin withou damaging my site?

Any advice would be great! I’m really hopeless here.

Thank you very much!

a) ideally you should have made backup to roll back before trying a new plugin

b) after disabling the rogue plugin, you can try
– a — clear transients with wp-optimize plugin
– b — resave permalinks to also clear micro-transients
– c — fully clear cache in your web browser
– d — try testing page in diff. web browser after all of the above

(I don’t work here; just food for thought)

Thank you very much, Chris!

I’m usually counting on backups of my server, when something goes wrong. But I really didn’t think one plugin could do so much damage, so in this case I have nothing to go back to :-/

I’m gonna try these other things, thanks again!
