Smart list block in TagDiv Composer?
I can only see the first entry of the smart list if i use a block and choose the category of the smart list. i would like however to show the entire list or a certain amount of entries on the page. i do have other blocks on the page..
can this be achieved? is there an option for that’ –> i have seen in some topic that you speak about “Smart List for Single Post ” Block.. but i dont have this option in TagDiv Composer?
could you please help or point me in the right direction.. thank you

There are multiple types of smart lists that can show the content in different ways. You can choose the smart lit type from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/5m6UIU1Ofl
The option is only available using the cloud library and on single post templates.

i have made my smart list.
downloaded a “smart list template” from the cloud –> smart list template 5.
assigned my smart list to post template “smart list template 5”
BUT
i am still only seeign your demo content and not my content
am i missing something here?

Hi,
First you create/import a cloud post template, remove the post content element from it and place a smart list element

Once you apply that post template to a post (post must contain a smart list) the post will display the smart list. That would be all the steps.
So a smart list post should contain only the smart list in the content, the post content element has to be removed and a smart list element placed in the template.

I have tried it.. to no avail ;-(
My content doesnt go into the template ever
If i download template its always filled with the demo data. i can not delete just the content. the button deletes the entire element. then i add a new one. and its again filled with the demo content
the smart list post has been assigned to the template..
i dont think this is so difficult to achieve.. do i miss something?

Hi,
Once you apply the template to the post and view that post, your content should be displayed. In the composer edit screen there will be some placeholder smart list content.
If you are applying the smart list template containing the smart list shortcode to a post in which there is smart list content, and your content is not displayed once you view that post, then please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access.

I see the entire confusion i had because the smart list can not be incorparted into a Page which i was trying to do.
I somehow understood that i can download a template, asign my smart list to it. then save the short code of the “single post smartlist” element and use this element in my page design so i can display a smart list inside a page with my design
THIS DOESNT WORK. to everyone who is trying this. as it seems not to be intended to be used on a page.
HOW IT WORKS
Download template and style it the way you want to
Create a Post and make a smart list in the wp editor
assign the smart list template under post settings
now when you see the created smart list post you have all the other elements from the template inside it and yes your smart list.
i would have wished the “single post smartlist” element could be used in a page. So it would fit my design and taxomony of the website. not mixing posts and pages.
