Any idea on how to avoid the smart list jumping to the title every time “next” is clicked?

Sorry but our theme was created this way. This feature affects all smart lists, not only yours in particular. This implementation is the one that works best on all smart lists. When you click on the next slide, you will have to read it from top to bottom, not from bottom to top. Your smart list has a bigger intro that appears on all the slides but this is not the case with all of the smartlists. Different smart list styles do not use the intro on all pages so there will be only articles and it will be weird to click the next slide and not have the screen move to the top. You will have to do it manually and that is an even bigger frustration.
Our theme has no option to remove the scroll to top unfortunately
