Hi,
Couple of questions that I have about Smart Lists.
1. Is it possible to force the page to reload in the same place i.e so it doesn’t jump back to the top of the page and the user has to scroll down again? https://www.scubadivermag.com/cenotes-riviera-maya-pro-dive-international/
2. Is it possible to remove the numbers completely and just have the box? i.e. on that same link we’d prefer to have that first portion of text in one of the sliders, but we don’t want it numbered.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Hi,
1. You could use smart list style 1, this functions like this
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/smart-list-style-1/
2. Since it is a list, the numbers would be helpful. You could remove the numbering with a custom code, and also left align the title
– https://www.screencast.com/t/X8ln6aeAv
.td-sml-current-item-nr {
display:none;
}
.td-sml-current-item-title {
padding-left: 0!important;
}
This code will work for the current smart list style you are using, for others it might need modifications.
Thanks
But I want the page to refresh so our ads get the additional impression something only the styles 6 – 8 do.
Hello,
But if the page changes and you no longer are at the top of the article, you will only see the bottom. Isn’t it more useful for a user to read an article from the top down, rather than be directly at the end of the article and have to scroll up to figure out anything. It;s like opening a page and you are in the middle or at the end of the page. It will be very confusing. Our theme does not have any option to remove this functionality.
Thank you
When the page reloads because they are moving to the next number on the list, I’d want them to stay on the list not move back to the top of the page. Otherwise everytime they count the list down, they have to scroll back to the bottom of the page to see the next item.
This limits the templates you can use as anything with a main image means a considerable scroll down. It also means you can’t have any lengthy introduction as again its a length scroll back down. Is there no way we can place a jump to point on the refresh?
I surely can’t be the only one that has requested this feature.
