I wish I could put Smartlist 7 to the full style editor, like Smartlist 8. That is, the images remain in position alongside text and not above (Smartlist 7) or below (Smartlist 6). But I do not want a pop (Smartlist 8), but simply give forwards and backwards, like smartlist 6 or 7.

I suppose you want to achieve Smartlist 7 pagination with Smartlist 8 content. Unfortunately, there is not a simple task because this feature is very sensible and is required custom work to change their functionality. You have to alter the code from the core files, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/fSq4Pk0q -> http://screencast.com/t/kDZdftfOGj In order to achieve as you wish it is necessary to do some hard coding in these files. Please notice as you needed a better coding knowledge to finish this. If you are not aware the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to implement this functionality in our theme because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
