Greetings,

We are displaying social buttons on our home page: https://photographycourse.net, and we would like the number of followers to update automatically. Is that possible?

Hi,

If you are referring to the social counter -> https://i.imgur.com/P8uFGAM.png this should be updated every 3 hours, if you are using cache plugins, please clear the cache and check again.

Hi Calin,

Yes, the social counter is not updating the number of followers by itself. Are there are settings for that? No, we are not using any plugin for cache.

Hi,

Please make a full backup to your website and database after, that please make a theme update to Newspaper 10.3.1
How to use the YouTube API -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/youtube-api-key/
Also check with tagDiv Composer the social counter, if you have set some fix count then will not take the real count -> https://i.imgur.com/UGStYrp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/qgvel0E.png

Thank you very much, this was an issue with setting the fix count, but after removing the fix count numbers, it doesn’t show the correct number for youtube subscribers. Do you know why that may be happening?

Hi,

Do you have set the YouTube api key in theme panel ? if yes, and the problem perist, pelase clear all cache and check the results.
