my social counter is not working. Twitter and YouTube is working however, Facebook and Instagram is not.
can you please advise where to look? I have tried FB name and ID still no luck. I also have tried to uninstall and install the plugin, still not luck. Anything else I should try?

-First of all you need to check if your facebook/twitter/Instagram account is public. If not the theme will not be able to pick up the information.
-Another thing you can do is check your ID if it’s set properly. You do not need to type in the URL just the id. -You can try with a different ID to check the counter, something like ‘cocacola’ and see if the info gets picked up. Then revert to your own account.
-If it still doesn’t work, try to disable all your plugins(except the social counter and visual composer) to rule out any plugin conflicts.

Hi,
my account is public and I got the correct ID for the Facebook. I have changed to another public FB ID and still didn’t work.
The plug is is working because I’m able to get YouTube and Twitter numbers. They are working but not FB and Instagram.
I have disabled all other plugins and still not working. Any other suggestions?

Its interesting that for you it is the opposite. for me Twitter works and Facebook doesn’t.

That ID seems to be an invalid one. Try to set tagdiv in your social counter plugin: http://screencast.com/t/H7DQDeMIgFcq
@kaifanun Please also check your id again and just enter the id (example: tagdiv) If another ID is still not working please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide login credentioals so we can test your counter for ourselves. Also include a link to this topic.

I set your twitter id on my end : http://screencast.com/t/ri1HalRh35nh The info gets picked up. Please try to reinstall your social counter and make sure you have the latest version of the plugin installed.(it comes with the theme and can be installed from the theme panel)

Still no go for me. I have completely removed the plugin and the template. I have installed it again from the beginning and still not working for me.
Twitter and YouTube works just fine. NO FB and Instagram

@kaifanun: Yes the latest version of the plugin is 3.0 and it comes with the theme. http://screencast.com/t/kVujz8cJX I do not know if that facebook id is a valid one.
The screenshot you showed me has a facebook id that does not exist and the instagram id is nowhere to be seen.
Please send us an email as i suggested above and provide login information so we can take a look at the problem.

Hi, currently our development is on a private server and can not be accessed from outside of our network. I can’t send login info. Our FB name is LACoFD and our ID is correct, may be you have typed it incorrectly. I have also checked it with findmyfbid.com Also, in the settings I did try to use our name versus ID and still was no go.
Any other suggestions? thank you again for assistance.

It works as expected. Please use your id like in the screenshots above. It also applies for twitter.
Maybe you have some connection restrictions being a private server so please ask your host about it.
