I updated my theme to Newspaper 7, but I’ve had no update to my tagdiv social counter (am on 3.1). As a result the social counter looks really weird on my sidebar: http://citysavvyluxembourg.com/

Well you already figured it out. Please update your social counter bu deactivating and deleting files and installing the correct one from here: http://screencast.com/t/ZxtxdfG5 Make sure you have version 4.0 of the counter for it to work on newspaper 7 as multiple styles were added to the plugin that are not supported on older versions.

Yes, I think the problem is getting version 4 of the plugin. I thought I’d get an update for that too, but no dice. How can I find it?

The plugin is bundled with the theme. In the newspaper 7 folder, there is a plugins folder as well. Either install the plugin from the theme panel as I showed above or use the add new plugin from a file and select this one: http://screencast.com/t/hyXPNkOs
