Social Counter and Ad Box not available Choice

Hello,
I have the latest Newspaper theme update v6.3.
I am having issues in locating the Social Counter plugin and the Ad Box element.
I do have both loaded in the widgets section under the appearance tab. When
I create a new page and want to add the Social Counter or the Ad Box, I do not see it in the Add Elements box.
F.Y.I. yes, I have cleared cache. I have turned off other plugins. Any help would be appreciated.

Typically these load in sidebar; so you choose the sidebar under appearance > widgets, add the items to that sidebar, then load that sidebar on the post where it will show the widgets containing in that specific sidebar.

What I display under appearance > widgets
left side:Available Widgets
right side: Newspaper default, Footer 1, Footer 2, Footer 3
There is no sidebar to add the widgets. Am I missing something?
