I tried installing the Social Counter plugin from a fresh theme download, and that did not work. I’m having to use the Facebook fixed count to display the count now. Social Counter seemed to work automatically in the last version of the Newspaper Theme. Any suggestions?

Please make sure that your id in the counter is correct. The easiest way to test it is simply enter the id in this url: http://www.fb.com/ID if the link redirects you to your facebook page then it is correct.

The ID is correct. I just double checked it to be sure.

I just removed the number from the Facebook fixed count so you can see it shows 0.
I changed the counter back to using the Facebook fixed count, but you can compare it to the facebook page and see that the count doesn’t match.
