Social Counter not displaying correct number of Twitter followers

I know it’s only early days for my Twitter account, but I’m proud of the 48 followers I have!

Hell, it could be even more by now.

Aaaaaaanyway, the problem I’m having is that Social Counter is only showing 6 followers…

(site very much in progress BTW)

I’ve removed and reinstalled the plugin, but it makes no difference.

I’ve tried the Twitter ID and the user name.

I get 0 followers showing with the numerical ID and 6 with the user name

Help!

Hi danwiggs,

I’ve test your twitter ID on our theme and it seems to be all right and display the correct number of followers as you can see: http://screencast.com/t/bR2saJJEU . My advice is to try another example with other ID, like cocacola and see if the problem is the same and then try it again with your twitter ID. If the issue is still there, please disable all the active plugins except Visual Composer, clear all cashes and try it again.
