The Social counter widget available with the newspaper theme isn’t loading my facebook or instagram pages.. twitter is functioning properly though.

Hello,
To display the number of followers, you need to use Instagram as a “Business” or “Creator” page, in this way those Instagram pages will be administered by a Facebook account (this is how Facebook API is working).
Also, when you log in with your Facebook account you must approve access to the pages you manage in order to be able to get your followers number
