Hi
Please make sure you insert the correct Facebook id, also you can try with a different id: http://screencast.com/t/CTfzDFKpsdu7 see if the counter works then re-add your id so you will refresh it.
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please provide a link so I can inspect this closer.
Thanks!
Hello Andrei,
i have tried with another facebook id: envato
with envato it works just fine.
But if i introduce my facebook id: FreedomNewz
the result is zero.
so what can i do to fix this?
Hi
Social Counter can display the fans number of a Facebook page only if that is public. In your case the user must be logged in as the page can be viewed: http://screencast.com/t/mklhjYUm that’s why the plugin indicate 0 fans. Try to set your page as public and test this again.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks!
My Facebook page has 235 likes.
Social counter plugin, liking my facebook page shows the number 0.
No Cache problem. When I set tagdiv shows the correct number.

Hi
Social Counter plugin can retrieve information from Facebook only if the page don’t have any restrictions or security activated.
@rthomas please make sure that you added your Facebook ID according to our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/ clear all caches and test again. If the problem persist please provide your site url and your Facebook page so I can Inspect it closer.

Hi @Andrei,
I am not sure where you are seeing this security check because when I check my Facebook page. Logged in or not or on my mobile devise I don’t see any security check. Is there a chance that because you are logged into so many different accounts that Facebook is making you do the security check? That might be a stupid question on my part but I just don’t seem to see any issue on my end and I have tried everything.
Thanks for your help,
Maurice
Hi

@Enginklf check the page settings, may be a country restrictions or age restrictions http://screencast.com/t/ivCXHPJsqxC
@mauricem I’ve checked your Facebook id again and now works fine: http://screencast.com/t/kbpcDB9Gd2z It seams to be a problem with receiving informations from Facebook some times. Our developers works on solving this issue and we hope to find a solution as soon as possible.
