Hello lvargas,

There is so strange behaviour. Unfortunately, this issue does not come from the theme. Please ensure you have entered the correct Twitter ID and you have followed the right steps in this regard. Also, please make sure this problem does not come from the plugins in conflict. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and check it again and see if your problem persists. Please check this tutorial because it should be more useful for you -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/

Hope that helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you for the message!

I am having the same problem. I have tried putting in several other twitter IDs of other’s profiles and it works fine. I put in mine (which was newly created) and I get a blank screen. I linked it to my personal twitter (which I’ve had for a while) and it works fine as well. Thought It could be a character limit (my new one is 14 characters long), but I found another profile with 14 characters and it worked. At a loss here what the problem could be.

I have exactly the same issue as Jonspeegle.
While testing them I use my personal account Twitter ID which I just tried change to a new one, of my website profile.
This is how it goes:
I use twitter ID in widgets (in sidebar and footer) and also in Visual Composer block on home page. When I insert ID in widgets – pics dissapear, when in VC – whole home page except main menu.

It is strange because it seems as it happens only when Twitter profile is new. When I take any Twitter ID of any other profile it works fine. Even if I use different ID’s. Should I wait some time for my new profile ID to be somehow accepted? 🙂

Kindly looking forward to some help.
Regards.
Pawel

Hello all,

First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of Social Counter 4.1 with the latest version of the Newspaper (v.7.1.1). Clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme, without any untested plugins which might interfere with the theme and cause a lot of unknown issues.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi.
Thank you for your answer.

In may case solution was… adding at least 1 follower to the profile 🙂
Anyway, there seems to be some other reason for unproper working of the plugin.
Could it be that some time before I had the same issue when I accidentally used full Twitter profile URL instead of just profile name? It also caused dissapearrance of images. Any code left since then and causing problems?

Both theme and Social Counter are up to date and I don’t use any strange plugin apart from “must have” ones.

Hello pawwel,

If you have the latest version of the theme with the latest version of the required plugins and if your Twitter is not working, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect the problem. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can easily identify you.

Thanks for your understanding!

As I wrote, it is working now. I added one follower to Twitter profile and it helped. I will look into it again soon and let you know.
First of all I gotta publish my website as I can’t wait that moment 🙂
Regards.
