How do I really connect social counter Facebook to a certain Facebook Fanpage? Just by the ID? Seems not working for me

You can connect the facebook counter to a fan page by using the id, facebook app id and facebook secret key as well as the generated access token. I did everything like in the documentation you can check yourself at https://haustierhero.de if you click on the FB button it goes to the FB Fanpage, app is set to live, page also, and no problem with Access Token?

The issue may be dues to your facebook id. Your ID is Haustier-Hero-256455128158116 Try to just add the number in the facebook ID section: 256455128158116

This worked, but I have another issue with my personal page, I tried both only the number ID or the whole FB ID Christoph-Schweiger-1917627061849161

There seems to be an issue with the access token in the current version of the social counter.
Please download this version: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/td-social-counter.zip
And very important: clear all your caching including the browser cache. Example for Chrome: https://www.screencast.com/t/f9Q66lPx1fY
Now the access token should work as before.
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.
