Good afternoon TagDiv,
I just started the process of converting my blog over to your NewsPaper theme which I bought a few months ago and I’m still in support for (sad how support doesn’t start with the first question or actual deployment đ
I’ve followed your well written tutorial about setting up your TagDiv Social Counter widget, but it’s been twelve hours and the counts have not updated.
Currently I’m using a temporary domain, http://www.TutorialsOnThe.Net, as the staging area for my work which I mention if you’d like to take a look at the issue (my actual blog is still live with my original theme.)
If you visit http://www.TutorialsOnThe.Net you’ll see the numbers there don’t match the numbers of my social media accounts (you can see the actual counts using the social media links at the very top of the site)
So, what could cause these counters not to update?
Note: As a last resort I went so far as activating the theme on this temporary domain to see if that was the issue, and obviously since I’m here asking the question it was not (later I’ll contact you about changing the registration to the actual domain and deactivating/deregistering the temp domain)

I see two instances of social counters on the homepage. One at the top, and one further down the page. The first one is configured with the default tagDiv socials

This account information can be changed by editing the page with the tagDiv composer

The other social counter on the page can be configured in the Widgets section. Please note that each social counter placed on pages or sidebars, has to be configured. They will not share data between them.
In the second counter I can see that the Facebook ID is not entered properly, clicking it links to an invalid profile page. Use only the Facebook ID in the required field

The Twitter counter seems to be 1 follower behind, but it should refresh after a small period of time.

Yes, it turns out I was changing the widget’s settings, but looking at the top social counter (which I thought was the Widget) that is in-fact is part of the page design.
And as you said, the top one is edited in the tagDiv composer.
