My Facebook Counter does show 0 followers but actually they are 23 and same problem with YouTube Social media counter as well. I have installed the social media counter properly..how can i solve the problem?

I tried everything, but my youtube counter stays at 0.
My user RolandWenzlofsky works and shows the correct subscriber number, the channel Teradatapro123 shows 0.
I used this guide “https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/” but it looks like there is a difference between the youtube users since they were somehow migrated to google+
Hi Marc Ravaris here, same problem at DineDrinkBellingham.com. I have followed the tutorial, reinstalled, at my Facebook developers page, say app working. I have 27 likes but counter stuck on 1. Twitter counter works fine.

@Roland Wenzlofsky If one channel or user works and the other does not, then there is some setting somewhere on the channel itself that is preventing the counter from grabbing the info. In most cases it;s the hide subscriber count that creates the problem. You need to show the subscriber count in order for the plugin to pull the info. If no subs are shown in the social network then no subs will be shown in the plugin .
@Marc_Ravaris it’s not the same problem. First , it;s not the same nework and second yours already displays 1 so it means the connection has been made but you probably have a very strong cache that does not let the plugin grab the updated info. Please clear all caching and contact your host and have them disable any hosting side cache.

I fixed it. I had to use the original channel name “channel/UCYm2CU5SrOER98KMqdk-EoQ” instead of the alias I can use as well (“channel/Teradapro123”).
Maybe this helps other people as well to fix the issue with youtube.

The counter is affected by cache so please make sure you clear the cache in order for it to show the info when first creating the widget.

I’m also having a problem with the Facebook counter. I’ve cleared cache, but fans still = 0. I followed the instructions here, but don’t understand the relationship between our page and the app.
I got the same problem with Facebook counter… The Site that described the documentation is not the same that appears in the link.

Please make sure that you have followed all the steps regarding on a right plugin installation. Also, make sure that you are using the latest version of theme and plugin which come bundled with the theme packet.
