I just downloaded this theme and I’m not quite sure how to correctly connect our social media profiles. I’ve tried just about everything.

Indeed, it’s somewhat confusing
You can
1) adjust it @ Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Social Networks (works only at the top of the site and you have to enter the whole url)
2) If you add the “Social Counter” into your page template, and you click on the pencil, then you will have a popup, and there can you also adjust these items (works only within your site°
Don’t now why they make it so difficult, because you use for those 2 ways the same info
