There are currently some issues with the Twitter counter, it will not count anymore. We provide an updated social counter plugin. Deactivate the one you currently use and install this one

That could be caused by caching, please access the WP Super Cache settings and clear it, or press the admin bar delete cache button

you are probably right, that was the problem. I though i avoided the caching by loading from a different browser but probably not.
