Hi People,
Please can anyone help me on these issue on having duplicate when sharing a post on social pages. When i click facebook share icon, the post will appear twice in our facebook page.
And moreso, on google plus, wrong picture will appear with a write post. i.e. when a post is posted, it will come out with a wrong picture, instead of the original picture.

Please make sure you use Seo by Yoast plugin for og: metadata as the theme doesn’t control this. We use it also on our demo. Check your page source to see if the open graphs are added properly and use fb debugger(fetch new scrape) to check your articles.
Regarding the google plus it seems that google plus doesn’t consider these tags. I have searched a little about this, so please try to test this by removing this itemprop="image" from here: http://screencast.com/t/Ua5FRoCtBKg and see how it goes.

I don’t use the Yoast so I’m still in this situation with the G+ share button. It takes the correct image but the wrong URL post and title.
You need open graph tags in your meta data otherwise Google will try to “scrape” the page, and might capture wrong data — very common if you have mega-menu running.
The *only* way to fix this is to have proper OG (open graph) tags which are used by social media to properly capture the data from your page — there are various plugins for this if you don’t want to use YOAST.
Nothing anybody here can “fix” without the OG tags in place.
