Hi I just bought your theme. I wanted to know if it is possible to add a sharing button that could allow to share to a number of social media sites (such as the ‘+’ button here https://www.addthis.com/get/sharing).
If not, is it possible to add a social sharing widget that would be positioned exactly where the themes sharing buttons are placed (I tried adding one but it displayed the buttons below the featured image).
Further, can we have a counter for the number of times a post has been shared?
Why not simply use the addthis widget for now.
I doubt they will add such an option.
Well, the idea was not have a floating widget but something like the one used in the theme.
Also addthis widget would slightly look out of place if used here.
You can customize the addthis widget any way you want, from classic to super modern. It doesn’t have to float – we’ve been using it on many of our sites for 5 years or more.

@waleedaslam Please consider using a plugin for this as Chris suggested as the theme’s sharing system doesn’t have at the moment an option for what your need. I will also add this on our request list and consider it for future updates.
