Just upgraded to Newspaper 6, the images on the site are 16:9 ratio. In Newspaper 4 I modified manually functions.php to values I needed but in version 6 it’s a bit different.
I see in td_config.php line 1052 and next the thumbs values. But all are hard cropped!
Can you please explain I can do this fix: to have all thumbs in 16:9 format? In all modules if possible.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such a simple option to achieve as you wish. All the settings for our blocks are situated in td_config.php and as you can see it is not a simple task to change its values. For achieving as you wish, please notice that you need more additional customizations and this is not a simple task because you can break the layout of the theme. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware to the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to implement this for you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

I can see your perspective.
But I have poor quality thumbs on the website. I did regenerate the thumbs after upgrade the theme.
On mobile look very poor.
The original images are 16:9 in HD format, so I guess this is not the issue.
How can I fix this issue please?

Unfortunately, our upgrade does not affect the quality of the thumbs. Please check our changelog and there you can see what improvements contain the update. On the mobile, this is the behaviour of the theme about image. All of these will be zoomed by CSS code and the image could have a lower quality.
