Well, I am seeing lots of users of Newsmag theme have problem of images not showing up. Even our website http://www.kabir.org had the same problem.

I tried the solution as suggested by other developers: Here is the guide on how to update the plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/

This still did not help in my case and I am seeing in other websites case well.

Solution that worked for me:
– I found it’s not cache or some other issue.
– The issue is with jquery script it’s not changing the opacity of images
– Go on style.css in theme folder line no: 23884
Change the opacity of images from o to 1 in CSS file. (0: hidden; 1:visible).

Problem solved. Images showing up again.

Hi

Indeed there was an issue with jQuery after last WordPress update. However we updated the theme and now the conflict it’s fixed. Best solution to fix the issues related with image display it’s to update the theme at current version available on themeforest, V 2.3.6 and also update Visual Composer plugin at V 4.11.2. Here you can find our update documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Thanks!

Hi,

Have updated to the latest version of the theme and updated the Visual Composer plugin, however the images still aren’t showing up on my site?

Any light you could shed on this matter would be much appreciated

Worked for me as well. Thank you so much!! After last WP update mishap, I had promised myself not to ever update WP again without checking this forum but got lazy and pressed the update button … then rushed to the forum for a fix. 🙂

Images seem to be loading as before … thanks again for the fix.

Hi

@TheIndiependent
I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re still using V 2.3.5 of Newsmag. Try to update it at V 2.3.6 which is available on themeforest, clear all caches and test again.

Thanks!
