Hello,
I have rebuilt the Eastcoast Check template as a normal page. Now I’ve noticed that the search doesn’t show the posts in the order newest-oldest, but is jumbled up.
I have tried all the settings found here in the forum. How can I restore this? There doesn’t seem to be an option to exclude pages from the search either. Probably in the header search, but not in the normal search on the page.
Can you help me please?
Hello,
Please make sure that you have in the Search template set the Posts Loop or Flex Loop, if you have cpt.
Also, you can use this option to exclude the pages https://i.imgur.com/n3cZUsL.png
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria
Somehow this doesn’t work. Neither with Post nor with FlexLoop.
If I enter “Papenburg”, posts are missing or not displayed in the order new >> old. If I enter 77, pages are also displayed in the FlexLoop.
If I don’t enter anything at all and ONLY go to search, everything possible is displayed
Also, next >< prev does not change the posts. There’s something I can’t seem to find.
Feel free to try it yourself!

Actually, I don’t use custom posts. Regarding the calendar don’t appear in the search normally, you can deactivate that in the calendar plugin.
So Post Loop should actually do it. But as I said, not in chronological order and some (newer) posts are apparently missing.
However, your Eastcoast template has apparently created some. But I don’t need that. But had the complete template installed instead of just the cloud templates. Is that maybe the problem?
Ok, that solves the problem with the pages in the post loop. However, the newer posts are not displayed to me. It’s like missing the latest 5 posts.
I just tried it out with the term “Papenburg”. The newest 5 posts that have to do with Papenburg are missing.
I entered offset posts as 0. The field was empty. But didn’t bring any change.
Hello!
We can take a look at this and investigate why it is not working for you. Contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:

– provide more information about the issue(screenshots/video)
Thank you!
Has this issue been resolved?
Could you also write a solution to this problem here? I still have the same problem for years and still haven’t found a solution.
Also, there is no such settings like post type as Bettina wrote:
“Edit the search page with the TagDiv Composer and check the element’s settings(General tab). There should be a post type option and please write there the word “post” in order to display the posts and not the CPT.”
