Sort order set to Latest but not showing latest

In my top block section I use Big Grid 2 and have the sort order set to “Latest” but it is not showing my actual latest posts based on date. Yet, in a sidebar section I have called Latest Posts which is also set to “Latest”, the most recent posts are in fact showing up. Setting are the same but with different results. What might be the problem?

Hi,

The element should also show the latest posts if you use that sorting. It would also depend from what category/categories you filter the posts. The elements will display latest posts from the category you choose.

So if the grid uses the same filtering and sorting as the sidebar block, the same posts would be displayed.

Figured out that I had offset set to “2” which meant I was seeing the 3rd, 4th , 5th most recent posts instead of the 1st and 2nd. Thanks!
