Sort sub-categories in Mega Menu

Here we are using the Mega-Menu and we would like to sort the categories per last post date.

Any advice on what hook I should use to target this list of categories?
Or the only way is to alter sort globally?

Hello,

You can’t sort the subcategories and posts in the mega menu.
Normally, the latest posts are displayed for each category.
