Source Name without URL

Hello,
I use “Source name” button as a caption for featured image. I don’t want to use URL, so also I don’t want it to be linked on post page. Where I can find the code to remove <_a_> tag?

Additional question: Is there any other option to remove it without changining the code of the theme files?

Thanks,
Kazimierz

Hi,

Unfortunately I do not quite understand on what elements/blocks you want to use the “Source name” button as a caption for featured image, please provide some more details and some screenshots.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi, I mean “td_source”. I’m looking for the file where code for linking it (using “td_source_url”) is placed, so I could disable it and use “td_source” only as a text.

Ok, I managed to find it – in shortcodes of td cloud library plugin.

I recently started using the Source and Via to provide attribution for contributed content. Unfortunately I would also like to give credit for the featured image. Is there a way to extend the Source Name/URL and Via Name/URL in the post settings to include Image Source/URL to be included with the credits?

While I am at it, I would like to make the credit links open in a new tab. I assume I need to manipulate some code to complete these objectives. Any direction is appreciated.
