SPACE BETWEEN TWO LINES ?

after writing a line on my post page on WordPress, when I press the enter button then a big space automatically added in between my two lines,

I want to reduce this space / reduce this size.

and please say why this is happening?

Hi,

So when you type something you create a paragraph, when you pres enter you start a new paragraph.

I already using this method, but I think it can damage my site and SEO because I’m not a coder.
