When a post has special characters (like a right arrow) or an emoji, the post won’t save — gives a database error. Why is this?

Hi,
I just made a test and for me seems to work without problems – https://i.imgur.com/ZvPLeS9.png maybe you have some extra plugins that are interfering. Can you make a test using only the theme and theme plugins?
