We installed last year’s Newspaper and have not been so lucky running it. Either the speed is very slow or the links are being generated twice.
Luckily, it looks like Newspaper 10 will handle the speed issue, pretty easy in what I read so far. So I will shelf the speed question for now.
Now it boils down to links. Our site is generating the same contents using 2 different URLs: To make the matter worst search engines seem to be using the /?amp ones we don’t need.

The links are so messed up for the SEO end, there is a lot of 404, 400, unrecognized protocol, bad request, etc.
Is it possible to improve our links for SEO using Newspaper 10, when we upgrade it?

It seems you have AMP enabled. You can disable AMP plugin and you will don’t have the second link anymore.
