I’m running a production site that uses a different theme. I want to use the same server and site to build the pages and configure the theme prior to making it live. What’s the best process to use in order to do this?

Hello,
You can create a staging install like so: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
And after everything is set up properly, you can use a plugin (like ‘duplicator’) to move the install to the live site.

That’s perfect. I’ve never used duplicator. Will duplicator only replicate the theme changes?
