Static Homepage

Hello, I just installed the “breaking news” demo. I really like the layout. My question is, how do I make a “static” series of posts? For example, the area under the “trending now” scroll — I want to display 5 articles there that never change and I can control the order (which article displays in what position.)

You should set up the static page from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/VnGDExPEoK and then that page can be customized with our page builder TD COmposer according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/td+composer/

But is it possible to have parts of the homepage static (like the first top set of posts) then the rest dynamic (newest posts)?
