Sticky post status

Hi:
I was searching about sticky posts and the Newspaper theme. I mean, if I mark a post as sticky in WP post editor, where is this post displayed or if the “sticky” status is used on the theme?

I know that the default Featured category is used to feature posts all over the theme, but if I want to stick a post, is this status still usable on the theme or do I have to make changes to display it?

I was trying to look for the sticky status option when configuring the blocks on visual composer, but I see none.

Hi,
The stick post works on latest article loop, if you want to enable it on blocks you need to change it like here: http://screencast.com/t/ZdOXXCasT
