Sticky Sidebar is bouncing around and not working

On the homepage I’m experimenting with sticky sidebars. I have 3 sidebar sections. My homepage goes from 2 columns to 1 every other row 3 times down the page. Its basically the default homepage with a few mods. When I use one sticky sidebar it works, but when I apply it to second section It does not stay in the row and it seems to jump around and not work. Can I only use one sticky sidebar per page?

Hi,

There is no limit for how many sticky columns you have in a page, this is a quick example I made with a couple of rows
https://www.screencast.com/t/UwlqdqQ3zxA7
Two rows, the first one contains one sticky column, the other two.
If you could provide some examples of what is happening so I can try the same, or even better a link to that page if possible, it would be very helpful.

Thanks

This is my page: https://askmrfranchise.com/home-2-2/

I’m going to duplicate it and work on it with another page name as to not hold up production.

What I am trying to do is make it appear in the top right section, use a background image for the background of the form. Of course I will have to put the background image and the form itself in a container so the background image stays behind the form and then apply styles to the form so it fits within the background image.

The left side content is twice as long, so I need the form to be sticky so its always visable until you get the the next full width section.

I need the form and background image to start and stay on top of the right side column and stay on the top right as the user scrolls down.

Right now its not starting or staying on top and it is also appearing in the second right side column when you scroll down the page

There is definitely something going wrong with sticky menus on my site because I build a test page from scratch to try to perfect a sticky row with a form in it and right when I click the sticky option for the column the form completely disappears

any help would be appreciated because I am stuck and scratching my head.

***UPDATE – NEVERMIND THIS PAGE. I FIXED IT ON THIS PAGE AND THE ISSUE WAS FROM USING BOTH TD COMPOSER AND VISUAL COMPOSER, BUT THE ORIGINAL ISSUE ON THE HOMEPAGE STICKY MENU IS STILL NOT WORKING***

I have inspected the row with the sticky sidebar column issue, the issue seems to be caused by a display property added to the row in Custom CSS or live CSS.

Try removing that code and check again. It should solve the problem.

Thank you very much

Now that I resolved it on the homepage and on the inside pages I have one last template that I would like to implement the stick sidebar with and it is further down the page. The column I am trying to make sticky contains a form and nothing else inside the column, however when I click on it the sticky option is not showing as available. Can you please help me figure out why this column is not sticky?

Form on the right side of this page

I just wanted to point out that it is an inner row. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

*inner column

Glad it worked. The sticky setting will work for columns resulted from splitting the main rows, not inner rows. This setting is not available for inner columns
https://www.screencast.com/t/m3flWjwZb65b
In your example the main row is not split into multiple columns
https://www.screencast.com/t/G4cEomzkULXr
So there is no column to make sticky in the main row.
