Sticky Sidebar Not Working :-(

I purchased Newspaper 6 when it first came out, used it for a while, and then switched to “another publisher” because they had a few features that I wanted. Then along comes Newspaper 8 which has 95% of everything that I want, and after less than a day of work, my site looks terrific!

However, I do have a couple of problems. One, for some reason, the sticky sidebar won’t work. I did activate it, and the blocks I’m using are 1, 2 & 12. It does not work, so I filled it with “stuff” so that at least it’s even with the rest of the items on the page. I wish that I could use the Widgetized sidebar on my whole site!

The other problem is that I’d like to able to reduce the font size on the sidebar headings, but I can’t seem to find the right instructions.

Also, one totally unrelated question – how can I get the grid from the “Gadgets” demo? I can’t find it anywhere and that would be perfect for my site!

Hello Vegasrenie,

Please notice that our theme was fully tested with the smart sidebar functionality and it seems to work as expected on my side, sorry! Notice that functionality comes from Jave Script and this can be corrupted if you are using some untested plugins which can cause this effect. Try to disable all of them, leave just only bundled plugins to be active, clear all the caches and check the results. For more information about smart sidebar, please check the following documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/

The simplest way to achieving the Gadgets demo is to import the demo at your website and using it with your data/posts/pages. If you do not like this way, you should inspect our demo preview with the Inspector browser because in that way you can identify what kind of blocks element is used. For more details about this, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!
