When my site is loading it does strange things, it’s like it loads late the css or something else.

Follow this link to see what’s happening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4cWmm7VPwY&feature=youtu.be

How can I correct this?

The url of my site is desdelaraiz.com

Thank you.

Hi,

Try deactivating the speed booster plugin, this plugin moves the loading of the stylesheet to the footer. Clear all caching after disabling it. If you use custom CSS codes, try entering them directly in the theme stylesheet, instead of the theme panel.
The top section that appears on mobile seems to have a transition before each loading. Maybe check the plugin used and see if this is the case. There could be a setting.

Thanks

Hi! Thanks for your reply. 🙂

If I desactivate Speed Booster, the problem persists. I think it’s not a problem with this plugin.

On some parts of the website I think it’s problem of the custom css, because first loads the original version and after a second it loads the custom one.

About the strange effect at loading the homepage, it happens on mobile and desktop, and I observed that first all the site is loaded boxed, and after a second it turns to full width.

As a conclusion, I think the problems are two:
1. The custom CSS
2. Plugin visual composer that loads boxed first, and then turns to full width

If I move the custom css to the theme original file, after updating the theme I will lose all the changes, because there is no child theme. Or am I wrong?

About the problem with visual composer that first loads boxed content, I don’t know how to solve it.

I hope you can help me. Thank you so much!

Hello bemibel,

I have inspected your source page and I saw that you have some custom code on your Custom Code Area which can influence this effect. Try to check it, clear all the caches and check the results. Notice that the default theme’s behavior does not have this effect. All these effects come from your changes.

Thanks for your understanding!

I deleted the custom code and cleared the cache, and the problem persists.

The content is loading boxed on desktop, and after a second it turns to full width (only pages made with visual composer).

On mobile, the header is loading black first, and then turns to white. Aswell, the content loads boxed first.

I hope you can have a look to see what’s going wrong. By the way, I added back the custom code.

Thank you!

I recorde 2 videos to show you the problems. When the videos were recorded, there was no custom css and all the caches were cleaned.

All the content made with visual composer is loading boxed first, and then it turns to full width.

Video 2

It always loads first the default theme font, and then it turns to the one I definded on the theme panel (the font is custom and I uploaded it trought the theme).

Then, if you go to my site on mobile, you will see the effect is the same in both cases, and moreover the menu is loading black first, and then it turns to white.

Everything is very strange… 🙁

Hello bemibel,

Unfortunately, I cannot watch your YT Video because all of these seems to be unavailable. If you cannot send me, try to make some useful screenshots with the problem. Also, make sure that your system status is increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Thanks for the message!

Hello bemibel,

I saw that you are using some full-width elements and you have some flashes when you load the website. Most likely, you are using the Speed Booster and you have some additional customizations through the code (CSS for example) and that’s why appears that flashes. You can refer to the following topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/header-style-8/ Also, if is not what you mean and if you need more assistance, in this case, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it.

Thanks for the message!

Hi Catalin,

After investigating, I solved most of the problems.

1. The problem number one was the plugin Speed Booster, doing strange effects on mobile version.

2. The second problem was the custom css. By default, the theme loads the css at the end, and that was the problem of the strange effects at loading. What I did is install a Custom CSS plugin that allows me to load the css at the beggining, and then the problem disappears.

3. The third problem, and I have not solved it yet, is visual composer. When you choose full width for a row, the row loads less width and after a second it turns to full width, producing an ugly effect. Why? This is probably a theme bug, because I checked other websites made with Newspaper and EVERYBODY has the same problem using full width rows with visual composer.

So my questions are:

1. Can you propose a new setting for the next update that allows you to chose if you want to load the css at the beggining or at the end?

2. By now, and to avoid installing a plugin for custom css, there is any code that I can use to load the css at the beggining?

3. Is there any way to solve the problem with visual composer and full width rows?

I want to say that most of the problems are theme bugs. Speed Booster is a plugin made by TagDiv, and it produces errors. The theme loads custom css at the end by default and you can’t change it. Finally, there is a problem with visual composer and the theme, loading late full width rows made with VC.

I would appreciate that this time you can help me finding solutions to my problems, at least at the visual composer bug.

Thank you.

Bernat

Hello bemibel,

Please keep in mind that the Speed Booster has been fully tested to our theme and seems to work as expected, without any problems. Please try to disable all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. Some of the plugins can interact with the untested plugins and causes a lot of unknown issues.
Notice that by default, the theme will load the CSS at the beginning and if you will use the Speed Booster, that plugin will load the CSS at the end. If you need more assistance in this case, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com. Before sending us this email, you should disable all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and remove all of the additional customizations if you have something like this. Notice that’s the first step for WordPress debugging.

Thanks for your understanding!
