Structured Data problems found in Web Console (Webmasters)

So I was looking at my webconsole and found that I had some issues in my structured data

Structured Data > hentry (markup: microformats.org) (Missing: updated)

So I looked around and found that Yoast has something to do with this. However, they recommend to contact you guys?

The requested tag is not present in your theme or is incomplete. Please contact your theme developer for assistance.

Please advise for a fix. They did have an option to remove hentry by adding a code to the functions.php but I’m not sure if that is the way to go.

Hello crazydiver,

Provide your website URL and some screenshots with the problem on WEBMASTER tool so I can identify it. Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme.

But first, you think that updating the theme will fix this?

I was not aware Newspaper 9 is out.
I’m on 8.8.2 .
