I would like to move the buttons from the smart list style 3 to the button.

Hello,
Unfortunately a smart list is a very complex element and it ill not allow the position change so easy. There is no setting to move this. It will have to be hard-coded. Here is the file you will need to modify: http://screencast.com/t/DWp5kWxOl
