So there’s no way to use CSS to make the thumbnails in the mobile plugin site full-width, and possibly position the headline beneath it? : /

Hello,
Unfortunately there is no css to make the thumbs full width. We have not tried this but the thumbs must be created, not stretched if you want them to not loose their quality. If you enlarge any image it will loose it;s clarity and display blurred out on your mobile. That is why we try not to use css enlargement as much as possible. If you want to change the thumb used in the mobile theme you will require coding skills to do it properly.
