Stylize category tag on homepage

I’d like to make the category tag a red box with white lettering, and move it up to sit half on and half off the bottom of the image. Right now the text is red, with no background, and sitting well below the image. http://jsgay.com/category.png
I’m using td_block 5 on the homepage.

Hello john1964,

Try to check our useful tutorial regarding on what you can create your own custom CSS code because this customization involves doing such custom work. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/ As a hint, you can provide your website URL so I can give some clues.

Thanks for the message!

I tried what you said, but it didn’t work. It looks like this: http://jsgay.com/category2.png. But I want it to look like this: http://jsgay.com/category3.png. Used this coding (which didn’t work): .td-what .td_module_3 .td-module-image .td-post-category {
color:#fff;background-color:#ff1800;
}
