Sub Categories on Block

I want to have a block that provides options to select each of the sub categories to display.

So that you can select which sub cat to view and it will show 5 posts from the selected sub cat.

I cannot get it to work.

I tried enabling ajax drop down but it shows those categories plus others that I don’t want it to show.

Hi,

Just edit the block and go to Ajax filter tab and on The Ajax dropdown – show the followings ID’s you need to write you categories ID ‘s that you want to have it http://screencast.com/t/FTMDEfQg

If you leave empty will display all your categories.
