I tried to install a Prebuilt Newspaper Theme for an old WordPress with pages, categories, menu, posts etc…
The new theme works fine but I have some sub categories removed during installation.
How can I install a Prebuilt wesite with all my categories and sub categories…
I don’t know why I have this problem.

Can you please let me know how you have installed the prebuilt website? Did you use the duplicator plugin?

i tried to apply the Prebuilt Website directly :
Newspaper > Prebuilt Website >
I choose a Prebuilt Website and click on Install green button.
After that, all my subcategories have been removed.
I did’nt use Duplicator plugin.
So how can do ?

Yes I had content (Post, categories, sub categories). I have backup, so I restore my old website. But I can’t apply new Prebuilt Website without erasing my sub categories. So my urls are broken.
How can I do to apply new Prebuilt Website and keep my old datas (post, categories, subcategoreis and settings) ?

So, if you made a subcategory based on the categories that were imported together with the prebuilt website, then yes, these will be deleted.
You can import the templates and apply them globally after.

It’s not really that I want. I can export / import Categories but all my posts have lost the settings for its own categories. So I need to link for each post the right category.
I want to import / export Categories and the settings between post and categories because all my urls will be broken without that.
